Printed Apparel (Direct-to-Garment)

We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide variety of printable garments and design color options. We use high-quality inks that won't fade for a long time if taken care of properly.

Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Don't use fabric softeners or dry-clean these items.

DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When ironing, use a cool iron inside-out and never iron directly on the print.

Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading, cracking of the print, and shrinking — all of which can happen if you wash or dry on a high setting.

Embroidered Apparel

Embroidered apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. A small amount of chlorine bleach is fine, but non-chlorine is the safer choice.

If you notice color residue in the water, rinse the garment in lukewarm water and then in cold several times — try not to rub any stained embroidery. Embroidered clothing can also be dry-cleaned.

After washing, don't let items soak or sit in a pile while wet, and don't wring them out. If you tumble-dry, use a cool air setting only.

Embroidered Hats & Beanies

Embroidered hats can be wiped clean with a damp cloth on the spots that need it. If necessary, hand-wash cold — don't use brushes.

Hats can't be machine-washed, bleached, tumble-dried, ironed, or dry-cleaned. Check the manufacturer label for any additional care instructions.

Knit beanies (Wordmark, Passport styles) should be hand-washed cold and laid flat to dry. Machine washing or tumble drying can distort the knit and shrink the fit.

Leather Goods (Chin Straps, Glove Straps, Radio Straps, Sway Straps)

Genuine and top-grain leather straps are built to take a beating on the rig, but a little care keeps them from drying out and cracking.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, or soot. Avoid soaking the leather or running it under water.
  • Conditioning: Every few months, apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple, especially if the strap sees regular use or sun exposure.
  • Drying: If the strap gets wet, let it air-dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or vents, which can cause the leather to stiffen and crack.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving leather goods balled up or under heavy pressure for long periods.
  • What to avoid: Machine washing, dry cleaning, harsh chemical cleaners, and direct high heat.

Helmet Pins & Buttons

Pins and buttons require minimal care — just keep them dry and avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can dull the enamel or printed finish. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth if needed. Avoid submerging in water, as this can affect the pin backing over time.

Custom Blankets

Machine-wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, and use a mild detergent. Tumble-dry on low or air-dry to preserve the print and fabric softness. Avoid high heat, which can affect the printed design over time. Do not dry clean.

Custom Athletic Shorts

Machine-wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble-dry on low, or hang-dry for best results and longest print life. Avoid ironing directly on any printed graphics, and skip the fabric softener, which can affect moisture-wicking performance.

Fire/EMS Stickers

Our stickers are designed for durability, but for the longest life:

  • Apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface for the best adhesion.
  • Once applied, they can handle normal weather exposure, but avoid repeated high-pressure washing directly on the sticker.
  • If removing or repositioning, gently heat with a hairdryer on low to loosen the adhesive before peeling.

Mugs

Our White Glossy Mugs and White Ceramic Mugs with Color Inside are microwave- and dishwasher-safe, but the print and coating will last longer with hand-washing.

Enamel Mugs and Black Glossy Mugs should only be hand-washed. Don't heat liquids or food directly in them — it can damage the coating.

Stainless Steel Water Bottles

Hand-wash only. Dishwashers aren't recommended due to the vacuum seal.
